Living in Amsterdam since 2000 and still discovering new and beautiful places i decided to write a blog about it. Mostly based in pictures, it's often the best way to show.Going back and forth between Dutch and English finally decided to go with English hoping to help a lost tourist find the best spots in town.

Salade Nicoise, maar met Zure Haring
A simple salad made around the wonderful herring we bought at the specialist Jewish souershop De Leeuw. Not open on Saturdays, but on Sunday. Mix of green beans, tomatoes and red onion with of course olive oil and vinegar. Souershop herring and hard boiled eggs on top. Garnished with some fresh dille.
