Mediterrane Salade

Mediteraanse salade met Rucola, kerstomaatjes,radiccio, feta, haricot verts, artisjokken en een heleboel verse basilicum

Lab 111

Dineetje met vriendinnen van vroeger Nienke en Marit. Oorspronkelijk was het plan te gaan genieten van "open air" bios Pluk de Nacht, maar helaas verhindert de regen ons dit plan uit te voeren. Dan maar lekker uit eten en dat is gelukt bij Lab 111. Heerlijk gegeten, echt weer een goed idee om hier te eten, gerechten heerlijk als altijd. Bisque van rund en een heerlijke Russische salade met rivierkreeftje.

Kippensoep

Na een beroerde dag, misselijkheid, is lief zo lief om een vers kippesoepje voor me te maken. He's the best!

Marie en Fleurs place

Jaaps laatste dag in Amsterdam, wat verruild gaat worden voor Groningen #geen commentaar# We nemen afscheid met een bouillon fondue met zelfgemaakte sausjes. Het vlees (kalf, kip en rund) komt van slagerij van Dam en ik moet zeggen: het beste vlees wat ik de laatste tijd heb gegeten. Zo wil ik het wel vaker, wauw! Het is bijna zonde om het niet rauw te eten.

Burgermeester

Geen zin om te koken en een miljoen fantastische plekjes waar ze heerlijk kunnen koken om de hoek. Vanavond verwennen we ons zelf met de regular burger van de Burgermeester, waar ze koken met met biologische producten. Naast deze burger hebben ze nog een tiental heerlijke burgers voor ieder wat wils: vlees, vis of vega.

Een beetje verdrietig niet meer in Finland te zijn, maar de heerlijke houtoven pizza van Portare Via maakt het een beetje goed.
Don Flourt: tomaat, parmaham, versie spinazie, ricotta en parmezaan

Vicking Island

Jaarlijkse zalmmarkt! Wat een mooi gezicht al die prachtige zalmruggen die liggen te roken.



Na een dag vol, nou ja, hetzelfde als gisteren hebben we weer behoorlijk honger gekregen: in chili, ui en knoflook gemarineerde varkenslapjes van de BBQ met een salade en de laatste broodjes van mama vicking

Vicking Island

Niels' chocolade verjaardagstaart, ik hou niet van taart en ook niet van chocola...maar dit...hmmmm. Speciaal geregeld door Vicking papa.



En na een nachtelijke sauna sessie, tussendoor geblust in de Finse zee, staat er 's nachts om twee uur nog maar 1 ding te doen: worstjes op de BBQ. Worst, bier en aardappelsalade naar oud Fins gebruik ;-)



Wat meer te doen op zo'n heerlijk eiland dan slapen, boekjes lezen, in de hangmat liggen, bosbessen plukken, zwemmen in je nakie en in de sauna zitten: eten! BBQ kippetjes met een verse salade en gekookte aardappelen, want je krijgt honger van al die activiteiten.

Vicking Land

Verse Finse paddestoelen soep gemaakt door de moeder van de Vicking, geserveerd met vers gebakken zoete broodjes en Finse kaas, heerlijk heerlijk begin van fantastische dagen in Finland. Soep werd gevolgd door de grootste pan aardappelpuree EVER, groene salade en een grote bak Finse gehaktballetjes, zo goed! Moet het recept hiervan hebben, Vicking mama is the best!!!



Vicking Island = Blue Berry Island. Het hele eiland is begroeid met bosbessen en cantharellen. Met de kabeljauw die we 2 nachten later uit het water halen met een speer er bij en je hebt het heerlijkste natuur gerecht. Drie dagne back to nature zonder stromend water of elektriciteit. Heerlijk, zou iedere Amsterdammer eens per jaar moeten doen.

Mom and dad's place

hmmm, getting a bit sloppy, forgot to take a picture...again. Dad made some homemade French fries from the patatoes my moms fot in her vegetable garden. Had been a while I ate those, still perfect as ever with a "van Dobben" croquette and some greek salade...

On the road

Taking the camper and crossing the border to BBQ on a German camping. Wonderful. Dogs love walking around outside all day :-) Meat from Holtes butcher, smoked beet salad and a lemon hütenkäse dressing, hmmmmm

Fam Jordaan place

Fleeing the city to get some fresh air in the forest of Holte. Marie got some Cordon Bleu from the best butcher in town, made with some pasta and tomato sauce and spending the evening on the porch listening to all the sounds the forest makes and that sound a bit creepy being city girls

Ton and Banny's place

It's summer, so...some some marinated lamb from the BBQ, but was was a great surprise was the salad of BBQ'd half peaches on bresaloa and rucola. Delicious!!

French Café Bistrot

Dinner at the French Café Bistrot with little sister and I forgot to take pictures of the wonderful food!! Very nice place, nice people and good food. Had a whole artichoke with "vinaigrette de moutarde", a lovely fish soup, steak tartare (yum) and the best entrecote from Lindenhoff...visit www.thefrenchcafe-bistrot.nl to see what other great, simple French food they have...

Pasta met gehaktsaus

My baby made a minces meat tomato pasta with green beans because of me craving some beef :-)

Pregnancy makes you tired...and maybe a bot lazy. SO tonight a simple meal, just some ravioli with cherry tomato and basil sauce. Green beans on the site for some extra health...

Jurs Place

Ate at Jurs place again. After lunch coffee at Wilhelmina Doc (should go there just for the beautiful view at Amsterdam), a wonderful bike ride through picturesque Northern Amsterdam and drinks with Ben at the terrace of nuew found place "het Gemaal" down at Flevopark we had diner at Jurs place. Jur made some lovely Zucchini soup with fresh mint. Jur may make me soup any day :-)

Gent aan de Schinkel

Still one of the nicest little restaurants. End of the Vondelpark, cross the street and the small bridge and it's as iff you're no longer in the city but in a little village in stead. Unfortunately the food was not as good as it used to be. Tomato soup, goat cheese and fig salad, was ok, but not special

Robert and Christine's Place

Eating in the Garden of Robert and Christines little forrest house is like being on vacation. Even forgot to take a picture of the lovely BBQ dinner. Salmon and Fennel, Baked potato and and a green salad on the site. Fresh fruit cakes for desert. Thank you R&C

Holiday at Heerde

Once in a while you have to flee the city for a couple of days. One of the best places is this little place at the edge of the forrest with fruit trees all around. Great thing: no internet or phone reception. The small village of Heerde nearby for grocery shopping. Five days of complete rest and relaxation.
