After a day of hiking through the mountains around Como lake, one needs a decent meal with my baby's pasta, a real Italian Caprese salad and a bottle of good Italian wine. How lovely Italy is, even when it rains:

My baby makes the best pasta's. Being in Italy making your own pasta, just because the ingredients are so good. A simple olio, aglio and pepperonica pasta, parmezan, spinace salad and some bread...what more could you need...

Holiday at Heerde

Once in a while you have to flee the city for a couple of days. One of the best places is this little place at the edge of the forrest with fruit trees all around. Great thing: no internet or phone reception. The small village of Heerde nearby for grocery shopping. Five days of complete rest and relaxation.
